How many ohms would 6 2ohm leads make?

Q: I have a 1 channel amp that is 1 ohm stable and have 6 10" subs that are dual voice coil 2 ohm speakers how can I hook them all up at 1 ohm?

A: 6 subs each are a DVC 2 ohm sub. here is the way i would achieve that. - first each sub would be wired parr. for a 1 ohm load each.... so in a sense there would be 6 1 ogm loads, then hook 3 in series, and the other 3 in series, effectively you now have 2x 3 ohm loads, then hook those two in parr for a 1.5 ohm load.... it's not 1 ohm, but i would not run a 1 ohm load even if the amp claims to be stable, fact is most "stable 1 ohm amps if run at one ohm, will get very hot, and will go into protect mode if overdriven. 1.5 ohm that i described above, is a bit safer, and will still give nearly all the power output of a one ohm load. also i believe It is also imposible to load your 6 subs to a one ohm load.
