Q: My left side blinkers on my pontiac stopped working. They just stay lit when I turn on the left turn signal. I have changed all the blinker bulbs several times and still can't get them to blink. When I turn on my headlights the front left blinker does not even light up when I click the left blinker but I can still do the back blinker manually. What do you think is wrong. Could it be some kind of short? I'm looking for a easy way out so I don't have to bring it to the mechanic just for a blinker.
A: It may be the switch. Indicators have a special switch that causes them to blink. This may have burned out or be shorted out so perhaps try and find that switch and see whether that is the problem.
