Q: I have tried autoshops & googled extensively, but can't find anywhere the little springs that attach to bumper bars to alert driver to when they have made contact with something. I have seen several in the past on cars. I am looking b/c I just bought a new car (VZ commodore) and am paranoid about the front fender (? if thats what its called??) & am trying to find ANYTHING that I can attach that will warn me when I am too close to something. So if anyone can make any suggestions on ANYTHING that's avail for FRONT bumpers, I'd be greatful. Please DONT suggest sensors UNLESS you know for sure it's avail for FRONT bumper. Cos I have only been able to source them for the rear, not the front. I thought even a little light that glows from inside when bumper is say 10cm away from curb shouldnt be too hard for a smart techy to invent...or what else is out there? Cos I cant find anything! Thanks in advance.
A: They are called "Curb Feelers". See the link below for an example
